Fonts I like to use and where to find them

Here is a list of some of my favorite fonts and where to find them.

Tangaroa Glyphs:  This font is a great tiki font.

Mansion Cryptbats: Great for Haunted Mansion type designs.

Check out his other free fonts for awesome inspiration.

Mickey Avenue has a ton of great fonts you can use including Waltograph.

Deco Tech  is a great font to use for retro style designs.

Font Diner has some really cool fonts that I like to use.  My favorite is their sparkly font.

Kingthings has some awesome fonts.  I like to use Kingthings Christmas for holiday designs.

That's all for now.  I'll add more fonts to the list when I get more time.  :)

Graphics by a former DIS member

If you have to choose one person to design something for your upcoming vacation it should be my friend Marty.  He is the best when it comes to personalized designs and is happy to help anyone in need for FREE!  That's right, he designs personalized graphics for you out of the goodness of his heart.  Whether you need a design for an iron on transfer to make your own shirts, or designs for your cruise door magnets, Marty will be happy to help you out.  All you have to do is follow the link to his blog on the right and send him an email.  Yep, it's that easy.

Who is Milliepie?

Hello everyone who reads this blog!
If you know who I am, Hello again!  If you do not then please allow me to tell you a little bit about me.

I am a simple person who lives a simple life with my husband of almost 20 years.  We have two wonderful boys and two crazy dogs.  A few years ago I happened upon a discussion forum in which it catered to my one obsession... All things Disney.  One year we were thinking of taking a cruise, so of course I began to read everything there was to know about the Disney Cruise Line and all of the tips and tricks to make the most out of my vacation.  I found this wonderful little thread that was all about Magnets for your door where so many wonderful people shared pictures and designs.  I fell in love with the idea and began to play around with some of my own graphics.  At first I thought there was no way I was going to share my creations because they were mediocre at best, but then I decided to just do it.  I was surprised that I actually got some requests for designs.  I loved it, and I loved challenging myself to do new things and come up with cleaner designs.

After a few years I decided that I should really do something with my life because my husband is about to retire from the military and my boys don't need mommy at home all of the time anymore.  I decided to go back to school to finally finish my degree.  I had credits before from my military experience and from taking courses at another University, so it was pretty easy to figure out what I needed to finish.  After one year, I can finally say that I will be a College graduate very soon!  During this time I had to slow down my designing and concentrate on getting good grades.  I have been very successful so far with a 4.0 GPA, and two more classes to graduate.  UPDATE: I graduated with highest honors!  I am now working on my next degree.  I still sneak in some designs now and again, and I wish I could do more, but time just slips away from me sometimes.  I don't know where I'm going with this blog.  Perhaps I will just rant and rave about things, or maybe share some design tips for those who want to learn how to do their own designing.  I want to hear from you!  Leave me a note just to say hello, or ask me a question.  If you have any suggestions for me please feel free to let me know.

I want to thank you for visiting and I hope to see you again soon!
